Last year, Anne finished 3rd in Kona. This year coming into the race, she had been dealing with injuries and had not been able to run much. She wasn’t sure how things would go. We now know: fantastically. She was able to throw down the 10th fastest run of the day overall, and won her first Ironman World Championship.

so proud and happy to have Anne Haug representing as a sports ambassador to Club La Santa. One of the most humble and professional athletes we know!
What an amazing win, congratulations Anne to the World Championship title in Hawaii 2019! 🌸🌿
Also, Anne seems to be a nice person with an empathic ability, I like that. 🙂
Thanks bob for all the content of this year and the previous ones, love it !!! Keep it up!!!
Anne Haug….Who?….Already forgot about her, on to next years Ironman World Championship.
Those were claps of disappointment, you weren't supposed to win, your win is a total accident, a mistake!
Love Anne, down to earth and an amazing running form. She finished controlled with energy to spare.
Anne has a very efficient and smooth stride. It was a day and night difference than Lucy on the run.
I can believe she won. Second and third in ITU world championship 2012 and 2013. Remember her running way better than the others.
