The 55×5 method is so simple.
All you really need is a pen, paper, an intention, about ten to twenty minutes per day (depending on how quickly you write), and patience while you wait for your intention to manifest.
Here are the exact steps you need to take to manifest with the 55X5 formula.
1- Think About What You Want To Manifest
First, you need to think about what you want to manifest. It’s even better if you can visualize it, because you need to use your imagination to generate the feeling you’ll have once you have what it is you want.
Let’s say you want to lose ten pounds.
Take a couple minutes and close your eyes and imagine what this weight loss will bring to you. How do you feel?
Do you feel sexy? Light on your feet? Healthier? More vibrant?
It’s important to connect to the emotional outcome of what you’re asking for.
Once you have that figured out, it’s time to craft your statement.
2- Create Your 55X5 Affirmation
Next, take the desire plus the feeling, and create a brief affirmation, or statement, which you’ll write 55 times each day for 5 consecutive days.
Sticking with our example of losing weight, we’ll go with something like “I feel deliciously sexy now that I’ve lost 10 pounds”.
3- Write It Out 55 Times In A Row For 5 Days
Third, you’ll sit and write your affirmation fifty-five times on paper. This should take you between ten and twenty minutes to complete.
This exercise may not be for everyone because it can get tedious at times. And you don’t really want to go on auto-pilot with your mind wandering around as your hand does all the work.
The purpose is to connect your thoughts with your emotions with your body through the writing, and let the intention flow through you.
As you write, get excited about the outcome. FEEL your body in your skinny jeans, rocking your stilettos, attracting all the attention you desire!
Whatever it is you desire, allow yourself this time to experience it first in your mind, so that you can attract it to you.
4- Pay Attention To Synchronicities
After the five days is over (and sometimes even during the five days), begin to pay attention to synchronicities and opportunities that arise, suggesting your desire is headed your way.
In our example of weight loss, maybe on the news the following morning you see a report of a new diet plan that interests you? Something you’d never thought of before.
Maybe you see an advertisement for a fun dance or fitness class, or someone randomly says “something is different about you – are you losing weight”? (Even though you haven’t started yet).
Maybe you feel an impulse to eat something healthier than normal, or to skip your normal dessert.
Little things will start to shift for you in subtle ways at first – then it will be more obvious over time. But it’s your job at this point to pay attention.
5- Behave As If It’s Already Happened (Let Go Of All Doubt)
Finally, you must let go of any obsession or worry about your desire manifesting. Consider it already done, and act “as if”.
This means taking action toward making it a reality, without wallowing in any emotion of lack of what it is you desire.
In our weight loss example, this would mean behaving as if you were already slimmer. Eating as someone slimmer would eat and working out as if that dream body is already yours! But you’re not going to sit and wait and think about how bloated you feel or how you wish you were smaller.
It’s already a done deal, right? It’s already on its way to you. So do your part and welcome it.
