Well he didn’t cry this year, got great new bike, general outlook looking much better, another race and some more valuable experience. Many pro athletes try for years just to get a podium, its all good.

Man you have had the whole start of the year off with injury. You swam well, biked in the front half of the race came off with the leaders, the run was not going to go your way after the minimum prep. Jesus dont be so harsh on your self! On minimum prep 2019 is already a much better season than 2018.
Lionel, how different of a race would it have been if the hydration was on point during the bike? I’m your opinion, can you estimate how it would have done?
You need to correct your running form brother. I know every runner who watches you feels the same way. Your right leg is like dragging or something. Your hips are not opening up with strides. I saw a clip of you and Alistair Brownlee running at about 8:30/ mile pace and you were clearly limping. I don't know what else to say about this. Get a running coach. Nutrition and hydration are important, yes. But you are going to always get smoked in the run until you decide to get a coach. Your range of motion is so constrained, it hurts me to watch. Seriously. You obviously don't listen tho so whatever good luck
You are a true warrior, but not sure if you can unleash the beast without a coach….you need a tough dog like Al-Sultan to prepare you for Kona!
When you missed those aid stations on the bike why didn't you go back, in hindsight the loss in time to go back would've been less than not going back? Asking out of curiosity not negativity.
This is the same video as last year!!!! You said you would get a coach then told everyone you were "self coached" 4 months later. Please get.a fucking coach!!! We all want you to succeed so much!!!
Sanders goes 8.25 on a super bad day @ Kona still in top 25…chill bro. HEY! Mix up the training so you can get to the next level there is more mountain to climb and you need different skills to get there.
