Full Disclosure. My Knowledge of Naruto:
As I explained in this video and my reaction to the openings; A while ago I read 2 arcs in Naruto Shippuden (The pain arc and partially an arc where —BIG SPOILER— Gaara dies) although I don't remember the details I do know some stuff that happen in those arcs.
As I watch I'll let you know if I know something/someone; so I'll always be honest with my reactions.
I will be reacting to everything I haven't watch/read (so everything but those 2 arcs) but be reminded that it won't be a completely blind reaction until I get to the arc with Pain.

I remember being a kid and having no clue why Jariya had a woman on his shoulder.
Still not the worst anime sibling beat 'em down I've seen. Itachi just taught Sasuke a valuable lesson.
To be honest, the girl in this episode looks kinda like Uranai Kuja… in other words, I means she is gorgeous
Well Itachi story is never make sense if you only watch it from Sasuke perspective. Even i question it little bit when i was younger. But hey, the rest is SPOILER area.
Purple nails are used because of manga. In manga Kishimoto uses dark nails for whole akatsuki to help reader know who hands are in picture when there is no face or body. Its common in lot of mangas.

You're only getting a very small piece when it comes to Itachi, but Naruto has a way of putting perspective on everything. (That's all I will say without giving spoilers)
Itachi is best boy. its impossible to hate him. Dont worry you'll love him again and even more later.
